Review: The Passion Test: The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Life Purpose

by Janet Attwood and Chris Attwood

The Passion Test

I came across this book just at the right time. I had been hearing often that my success lay in following my passions and being true to them. I was at that time still working out what I wanted to do with the next stage of my life and where I wanted to be, but didn’t yet feel that I was truly in touch with my passions. They seemed to have been buried by the vagaries of fitting my life to my circumstances, so much so that I had lost touch with my passions; what was really important for me as an individual to have in my life and what it was that excited me. This little book helped me to unearth my passions

Although the Attwoods often refer to Indian mysticism to illustrate many of their ideas, the exercises they have devised are independent of it, making the book useful for people of other faiths too. So don't let that put you off. If you have a go at the Passion Test, you might be surprised at the answer you come up with. I was at first, but once I sat back and thought about my result, it was right on the mark. Try it out and let me know how you get on!
